General Description
Ærø Single Malt is produced based on the principles contained in Ærø Whisky’s manifest. This beautiful single malt whisky from Ærø is a dream of softness and roundness, a true delicacy of taste that will enchant your senses. It is made with love and care from barley Ærø and has aged at least 4 years in sherry casks and 1 year in our own rum casks. Every single drop has absorbed the finest aromas and flavor nuances from both our craftsmanship placed in the herb and from the barrels and formed into a harmonious whole of gentle and balanced flavor notes. No smoke, no sharpness, just pure and authentic taste Ærø in its finest form.

Cask / Barrel
Our barrels are made from the finest Spanish oak, carefully selected and fired to medium+ on the inside. These barrels have previously been filled with the most delicate sherry and our own rum, which has added a deep and complex flavor to the barrels. When we took the barrels home to our distillery, they were filled with our own creation, raw spirits from Ærø. And here begins our magical process, where raw spirits and barrels meet and create something very special. It is a process where time is an important factor, where taste and aroma slowly mature and become the finished product whisky, which is now standing before you. It has been a full 5 years in the making, but is now ready for you to enjoy a classic dram from Ærø Whisky.

Alcohol
Whisky'one is bottled at 48% alcohol.
