Order
You can order Ærø Whisky products directly from the webshop and pay with Visa/Dankort, Visa and Mastercard. All prices given are in Danish kroner including VAT and taxes.

Note: Deliveries can only be made to addresses in Denmark, and you must be 18 years of age to shop in the webshop. In June 2024, the Danish Parliament adopted a bill which requires all webshops that sell alcohol to consumers to have an effective IT system for age control. This law entered into force on 1/10-2024, and Ærø Whisky have chosen to verify age through the use of MitId.

Payment
All prices include applicable Danish VAT and taxes. We accept the following payment methods: Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard and MobilePay The payment is debited to your card when the item has been ordered and the payment has been completed in the payment module.
Exceptions to this are pre-orders where the payment is withdrawn upon ordering.

Delivery
Can only be delivered to addresses in Denmark. The delivery time for stock items is normally up to 2 working days from when you have placed your order. Delivery takes place with GLS or Postnord. All shipments are insured until handover to the customer has taken place.

Advance orders
An expected delivery time appears in the product description. For pre-orders, the amount will be raised when ordering.

Shipping costs

• All orders are shipped free of charge with a minimum purchase of DKK 895.
• It cannot be delivered abroad.
• All orders are sent with GLS and Postnord.

Reservation
Reservations are made for printing and typing errors and for discontinued products.

Safety
Ærø Whisky A/S does not save your credit card information. All card transactions are carried out via ePay's payment gateway. You can read more about security at ePay's website. All Dankort/credit card information and personal information such as name and address are sent encrypted over the internet. If you discover unauthorized withdrawals on your card, you must do the following: Contact your bank or card issuer and report the unauthorized withdrawal. If your bank or card issuer determines that the unauthorized withdrawal is due to misuse of Dankort/credit card information that has been revealed while you shopped with Ærø Whisky A/S and imposes a deductible on you, you must contact us immediately.

Oinformation on appeal possibilities
A complaint about a product or service purchased from Ærø Whisky A/S can be submitted to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Center for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution via www.forbrug.dk. The EU Commission's online complaints portal can also be used when submitting a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. Complaints are filed here – http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
